About me...

I am a fully qualified Equine Dental Technician having passed the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) & British Veterinary Dental Association (BVDA) Exams. I am also a member of the British Association of Equine Dental Technicians (BAEDT).

I also have a Degree in Equine Dental Science at Hartpury College, University West of England, the only university in the UK to offer this degree.

I trained by an apprenticeship with Toby Lee and Henry Billson BEVA/BVDA qualified equine dental technicians over a period of 3 years and have taken part in many UK based equine dentistry training courses, and had plenty of one to one training, gaining the best experience possibly, therefore totally UK trained which is very rare and unique.

I have also spent a year working at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh alongside Professor P Dixon and Safia Barakzia as an equine soft tissue surgery technician assisting with referral cases such as; advanced dentistry, respiratory tract investigations and surgery, sinus surgery, colic surgery and out of hours nursing.

I also regularly attend courses, workshops, and conferences to keep up with new developments in the field of equine dentistry.

I have owned and ridden horses from a young age going through pony club to competing in affiliated dressage and eventing. I have also worked in competition and training yards and know how important it is to have the horse in its best possible condition, enabling it to perform to its maximum potential what ever their age.
